Lithium Carbonate Prices Extend Decline Amid Sluggish Trades

The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index was 173,402 yuan/mt today, a decrease of 1,454 yuan/mt from the previous working day.

SHANGHAI, Sep 26 (SMM) – The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index was 173,402 yuan/mt today, a decrease of 1,454 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate price range was 162,000-178,000 yuan/mt with an average price of 170,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of 1,000 yuan/mt from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate price range was 151,000-163,000 yuan/mt with an average price of 157,000 yuan/m, a decrease of 1,000 yuan/mt. Lithium carbonate market remains sluggish, even as the week-long National Day holiday is drawing near. Cautious sentiment prevailed, with some buyers restocking on the dip.
